Trainee Account Executive

I graduated from Film & Television Studies at UEA in Norwich in 2006. In an attempt to delay getting a proper job for as long as possible, I temped for a year and a half, with a short trip to Australia in the middle. I then decided it was finally time to get a job in media, so I quit my admin job and began 2008 unemployed. After a couple of weeks rest (obviously), I began applying to various London-based media agencies before I discovering there was one in my home town of Reigate! One interview later and the lure of a job within rolling distance won over the commute to London every day.

I'm still learning the ropes of media planning and buying, but enjoying it every step of the way, and enjoying the extra sleep-time by working locally. Somehow, despite my best efforts, I still don't seem to have saved enough pennies to move out, and strangely my wardrobe and shoe collection just keeps expanding.
