I made the move from the North East to the North West when I attended the University of Central Lancashire in Preston. After much stress and strain I managed to graduate in 2006 with a degree in Fashion and Brand Promotion. As soon as I could, I hot footed it down to Manchester and took the job of Assistant Manager at Thorntons chocolate shop. I soon realised a career in confectionary was not for me and decided to put that expensive degree to use, I applied for any job with "creative", "media" and "advertising" in the job title and finally stumbled into the world of media buying. I worked for a B2B specialist agency for 7 months before making the switch to Space and Time. The team in the Manchester office are helping me learn more and more about the industry each day, and I keep them amused with my funny geordie accent.
