The web’s changing, and here at Space and Time Towers we understand that it’s essential for advertising to change with it. These days web users don’t hunch over the keyboard, tapping in questions and squinting at written answers: they find the information they are looking for via video, and then sit back to take it all in. The growth of user-generated content and social media has meant an increased use, wider distribution and greater access to video content online than ever before: sites like YouTube not only host videos but they make them available to others to share and host on their websites, desktops and mobile phones too.
Online video is more powerful than photos, it also allows an advertiser to offer a link to its website or offer and is very low cost compared to other media. It can also make a significant impact on organic Search Engine Optimisation.
To help you ride this video wave across the digital sea, Space and Time can take a video and distribute it with links to over 10 of the web’s largest video portals. We then back up these feeds with social bookmarking, whereby links to video feeds are added to social media sites in order to increase reach, raise awareness and generate traffic. The most important goal will be to gain high “link scores” so that the video itself is returned in natural search listings among the text results, which should lead to greater interaction from your potential customers.
The agency works with a number of websites, setting up individual client profile pages and then syndicating the video and relevant summary text and link to each. Stats on the take up and viewing of the videos are available monthly or as requested. It’s worth noting that the video hosting sites can reject videos at their discretion and without recourse, but generally this shouldn’t be a problem.
What we require:
- Video in either Mpeg4, WMV or Dot.mov format: no longer than 10 minutes in length or 100mb in size. The optimum length is below 2 minutes.
- A URL for the page you would like relevant traffic to be directed to.
- Logo - small jpeg or gif file
- £400 set up fee for the first video, £150 per video thereafter
